Recap: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Otis Bulldogs
If The Peetz Bulldogs were feeling good off their 56-6 takedown of the Weldon Valley Warriors last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Peetz took a hard 62-48 fall against Otis on Friday. It was the first time this season that Peetz let down their fans at home.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Naegele, who picked up 200 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Rhyder Bayne was another key contributor, throwing for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes.
Mitchell Stivers had a dynamite game for Otis, rushing for 242 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also catching a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Erick Thorn, who rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
Peetz's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Otis, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
Peetz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Otis also has no future games currently scheduled.
