Soccer Recap: Dinwiddie Triumphs

Dinwiddie proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by four) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Mecklenburg County Phoenix. Four seems to be a good number for Dinwiddie as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

The victory got Dinwiddie back to even at 3-3. As for Mecklenburg County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-4-4 record this season.

Dinwiddie will challenge Colonial Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonial Heights' last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mecklenburg County, they will square off against Tunstall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
