Softball Recap: Vicksburg Bulldogs vs. Coldwater Cardinals
Vicksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coldwater Cardinals. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Vicksburg got a good showing from Allison Truckey, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Those zero hits allowed gave Truckey a new career-low.
