Shawnee fell victim to St. Ursula Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Arrows, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Shawnee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 249th, while St. Ursula Academy are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Ottawa-Glandorf brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand Kalida a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. Ottawa-Glandorf haven't had any issues with Kalida recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Ottawa-Glandorf's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Shawnee, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9-2.
