Soccer Game Preview: Konawaena vs. Honoka'a

Konawaena and Honoka'a are an even 4-4-2 against one another since December of 2014, but likely not for long. The Konawaena Wildcats will welcome the Honoka'a Dragons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Konawaena's offense. They came up short against Kamehameha Hawai'i on Friday, falling 4-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Honoka'a was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waiakea. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly two goals.

Konawaena's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Honoka'a, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
