There's no place like home for the Alchesay Falcons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 63-58 win over Winslow on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jazlyn Nosie was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 28 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ramona Gregg, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Winslow still got an impressive performance from Jaci Gonnie, who scored 23 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jauslyn Nells, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds.
Alchesay's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-13. As for Winslow, their loss dropped their record down to 7-19.
Alchesay will head out on the road to challenge Monument Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alchesay has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Winslow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
