Soccer Game Preview: Dracut vs. Tewksbury Memorial

The Dracut Middies will head out on the road to challenge the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dracut's last eight contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Dracut took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Billerica Memorial, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Middies' defense stepped up to hand the Indians a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The game was the first time Dracut have beaten Billerica Memorial on their pitch since October 10, 2019.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Tewksbury Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Methuen by a score of 2-1.

Dracut has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5-1 record this season. As for Tewksbury Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-2.
