Baseball Recap: North Hardin Takes a Loss

If North Hardin was feeling good fresh off their 12-3 takedown of John Hardin on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Adair County Indians on Friday, falling 12-2. Trojans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Indians since on Friday.

North Hardin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Lirot, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

North Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Adair County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Hardin will challenge Fairdale at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Adair County, they will head out to face off against Barren County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
