Volleyball Recap: Griffith Gets the Win

Griffith hadn't done well against Hebron recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawks. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Milah Castro paced Griffith's offense, picking up six kills. Castro got some help from Charlee Prutsman and her seven assists.

Griffith's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hebron, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Griffith and Hebron will both be playing East Chicago Central the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Cardinals at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
