Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Highlands). They blew past the Irving Tigers 8-0 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Dani Chaump as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory (which was Lake Highlands' 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those 11 contests. As for Irving, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Highlands will face off against Pearce at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Pearce will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lake Highlands surely won't give up without a fight. As for Irving, they will be playing at home against Richardson at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th.
