Basketball Recap: Victoria's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Victoria was riding high fresh off their 62-40 takedown of Otis-Bison last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Victoria Knights took a 54-39 bruising from the Ellis Railroaders on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 56-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Ellis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabella Eck, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Kohl, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards.

Victoria's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Ellis, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victoria will welcome LaCrosse at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ellis, they will host Norton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
