Crestview had won four straight games and Liam Kuhn did his part to make it five on Friday. The Cougars walked away with a 30-21 victory over the St. Paul Flyers with plenty of help from Kuhn, who rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 174 yards and a pair of TDs. His passing game has become a key predictor of Crestview's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

St. Paul lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nicholas Pocos, who rushed for 99 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Casey Fries, who rushed for 74 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.
