Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Callaway). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers 76-33. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Callaway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamarion Glover, who went 7 of 8 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Clayton Moore, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

North Callaway smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

North Callaway's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Wellsville-Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the North Callaway Thunderbirds take on the Clopton Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Callaway has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wellsville-Middletown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Haven at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
