De Smet Jesuit waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They had just enough and edged the Vianney Golden Griffins out 77-74. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Golden Griffins are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
