Football Game Preview: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. Indian Land Warriors

The T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets will take on the Indian Land Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

T.L. Hanna is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 38-14 margin over Greenville. Winning may never get old, but the Yellow Jackets sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

T.L. Hanna's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brock Cole, who rushed for 135 yards on only 11 carries. Those 135 rushing yards gave Cole a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Jimmarion Boston, who rushed for 110 yards on only 12 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: T.L. Hanna was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 488 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 264 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Indian Land, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They claimed a resounding 40-10 win over Hillcrest. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Indian Land found their leader in sophomore Matt Kucia, who threw for 245 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Indian Land's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for T.L. Hanna, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-1.
