Basketball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 71-41 defeat at the hands of the Oak Grove Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Tigers are ranked 139th).

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Oak Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
