Basketball Game Preview: Temple Tigers vs. Ringling Blue Devils

Temple is 1-6 against Ringling since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Temple Tigers will face off against the Ringling Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Temple is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 37th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They took a blow against Ryan, falling 58-8. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while the Cowboys are ranked 180th).

Meanwhile, Ringling lost to Healdton at home by a 50-35 margin on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Temple's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Ringling, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Temple was dealt a bruising 56-12 loss at the hands of Ringling in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Temple avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
