Ashton Dean continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least two stolen bases. He scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He was dominant the last time he took on Gentry back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Dean is becoming a predictor of Greenville's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-6 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Dean and Greenville will head out on the road to face off against Cleveland Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
