Softball Recap: Grove City Has No Trouble Against Newark

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grove City had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Newark Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Grove City now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Newark, they dropped their record down to 8-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Grove City will face off against Watkins Memorial at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Newark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
