Baseball Recap: First Baptist Christian Academy Gets the Win

First Baptist Christian Academy proved they can win big on February 11th (they won by 11) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles 5-4.

Brendan Calderon was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Calderon was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Ryan Busler was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Jacoby Hurry was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

First Baptist Christian Academy's record now sits at 2-0. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
