It was a good run, but Trimble County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Simon Kenton Pioneers 56-21. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Pioneers are ranked fourth).

Trimble County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Simon Kenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.
