Basketball Game Preview: Brimfield Indians vs. Roanoke-Benson Rockets

The Brimfield Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Roanoke-Benson Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roanoke-Benson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Brimfield, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Brimfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Elmwood, taking the game 47-40.

Meanwhile, Roanoke-Benson lost to St. Bede on the road by a 56-41 margin on Friday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roanoke-Benson's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-10. As for Brimfield, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Everything went Brimfield's way against Roanoke-Benson in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Brimfield made off with a 56-35 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brimfield since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
