Basketball Recap: Plano Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Plano posted their closest victory since November 30, 2023 on Saturday. They skirted past the Johnsburg Skyhawks 45-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-37 last Monday.

Plano's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sanai Young led the charge by putting up 11 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Young is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Josie Larson, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 12 points.

Plano smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 29 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
