Baseball Recap: Maple Hill Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Maple Hill came out on top against Chatham on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Wildcats walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Panthers. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 15-5 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

The victory (which was Maple Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Chatham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maple Hill will square off against Coxsackie-Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chatham, they will be playing at home against Berlin/New Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
