Basketball Game Preview: Noble Knights vs. Falmouth Navigators

The Noble Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Falmouth Navigators at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Noble will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Noble will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Scarborough, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Noble took down Scarborough 63-46 on Thursday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Red Storm are ranked 30th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Falmouth earned a 60-48 victory over Westbrook on Thursday.

Noble pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Falmouth, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Noble skirted past Falmouth 54-52 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Noble since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
