Phil Campbell had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 14-22 to make it six. They lost 12-2 to the Colbert Heights Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-1 defeat last Thursday.

As for Colbert Heights, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 28-12. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 17 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

For Colbert Heights' part, Addison Holcomb made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Holcomb was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and one stolen base while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Autumn Willis was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Missey French, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
