Baseball Recap: Newport Wildcats vs. Highlands Bluebirds
Newport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 44th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-0 to the Highlands Bluebirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
