Volleyball Recap: Sayre Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wellsboro, Sayre was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Northeast Bradford Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Redskins were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Redskins were just returning the favor.

Sayre walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.

Sayre's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Northeast Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sayre will square off against rival Cowanesque Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northeast Bradford is set to take on their familiar foe Wyalusing Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
