Swansboro had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Dixon on Monday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Swansboro was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-23.
