Soccer Game Preview: Odessa vs. Midland

Odessa hasn't had much luck against Midland recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bronchos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Odessa has given up an average of 2.9 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Odessa lost 6-2 to Permian on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Odessa were already down 4-1.

Naileah Castor wasn't going to let Permian walk away unscathed as she scored both of Odessa's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Midland was forced to settle for a draw. They and Frenship finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Odessa's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2. Midland's draw makes their record 6-5-1 this season.
