Richards and Stagg are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richards' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Stagg's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Richards' usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Lane Tech hitters got past them. The Bulldogs lost 10-3 to the Champions on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since May 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Stagg had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Conant on Saturday, sneaking past 4-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Richards and nudges their season record down to 22-8. As for Stagg, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 8-26.
