Bonneville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Skyline, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bees put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 9-2 win on Thursday. Considering the Bees have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Gracie Longhurst was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Alli Sutherland was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Paisley Bowler was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Bonneville's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-5. As for Skyline, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.
