Hapeville Charter can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Washington Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hapeville Charter easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11.

Janyiah Stanley paced Hapeville Charter's offense, picking up seven kills. Stanley got some help from Maaliyah Dorcoo and her eight assists. Jordynn Conley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hapeville Charter picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hapeville Charter will square off against Arlington Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they will face off against Forest Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
