Basketball Recap: Phelps Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Phelps hadn't done well against Perkiomen School recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Phelps Lions took down the Perkiomen School Panthers 82-67. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Panthers are ranked 91st).

Phelps' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-22. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. As for Perkiomen School, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Phelps nor Perkiomen School have any future games scheduled.
