Soccer Game Preview: Valley Christian vs. ALA - West Foothills

The Valley Christian Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the ALA - West Foothills Guardians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Valley Christian is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Gilbert Christian just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the Knights. The shutout was out of character for the Trojans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for ALA - West Foothills' offense. They fell 2-0 to Bourgade Catholic on Wednesday.

ALA - West Foothills' loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

Valley Christian took their win against ALA - West Foothills in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 7-0. Will Valley Christian repeat their success, or does ALA - West Foothills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
