Baseball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Arlington faced off against Brighton on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 15, 2024.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Brighton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Arlington will take on First Assembly Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Brighton, they will venture away from home to take on Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
