Volleyball Recap: Crawford's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After a string of four wins, Crawford's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Lincoln Hornets. If the Colts were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 17-25, 25-22.

Eh Leh Ber Brown paced Crawford's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brown got some help from Adolfo Ventura and his 19 assists. Ventura was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crawford will host Point Loma at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
