Volleyball Recap: Brownstown/St. Elmo's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brownstown/St. Elmo came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Farina South Central Cougars by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Brownstown/St. Elmo might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Farina South Central scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Madi Miller paced Brownstown/St. Elmo's offense, picking up four kills. Miller were helped by Addie Sasse and Macey Sapp, who contributed seven assists each.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Farina South Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Brownstown/St. Elmo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sparta on the 6th. As for Farina South Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Dieterich on the 9th.
