Baseball Game Preview: Champion Golden Flashes vs. Garfield G-Men

For the second straight game, Champion will face off against Garfield. The Golden Flashes will host the G-Men at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Champion hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Champion fell victim to Garfield and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the G-Men by a score of 1-0.

Dylan Howell spent all 7.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

The victory made it two in a row for Garfield and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Champion, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
