Baseball Recap: Florin Comes Up Short

Florin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Valley Vikings, falling 13-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Vikings since April 29, 2021.

Florin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elias Toney-Vasquez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. That hit marked the first that Toney-Vasquez got this season.

Florin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

While Florin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
