Baseball Game Preview: Barlow Bruins vs. Roosevelt Roughriders

The Barlow Bruins will face off against the Roosevelt Roughriders at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Barlow easily dispatched Southridge on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bruins fell just short of Crescent Valley by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Caldera, falling 17-3.

Cal Hare made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Oliver Immel also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Barlow, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
