Basketball Recap: Mclean Picks Up Tenth Straight Win on the Road

McLean extended their road winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Kasidy Russell. The McLean Tigers breezed by the Lefors Pirates to the tune of 76-19 on Friday thanks in part to Russell, who went 16 of 26 en route to 44 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Hailo Moon, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. What's more, she also racked up three steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

McLean's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Lefors, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLean will challenge Shamrock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McLean is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season. As for Lefors, they will take on White Deer at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
