Soccer Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

Eureka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Nixa Eagles.

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Nixa, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Eureka will face off against Hazelwood Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nixa, they will host Carthage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
