Minarets won the last time they faced Golden West and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Trailblazers by a score of 2-0.

Minarets was led to victory by Olivia Fontanilla and Zaphara Byron-Hamilton. Fontanilla had six digs and four aces, while Byron-Hamilton had nine digs and three aces. What's more, Byron-Hamilton racked up eight assists, the most she's had over her last four matchups.

Minarets' record is now 9-10. As for Golden West, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Minarets wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Edison on the 20th. As for Golden West, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fresno on the 20th.
