Basketball Game Preview: Shadow Creek Sharks vs. Dawson Eagles

The Shadow Creek Sharks are taking a road trip to challenge the Dawson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shadow Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Dawson likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, everything went Shadow Creek's way against Manvel as Shadow Creek made off with a 75-50 victory. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Dawson suffered their biggest defeat since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Pasadena Memorial, falling 91-70.

Shadow Creek pushed their record up to 23-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for Dawson, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.

Everything came up roses for Shadow Creek against Dawson when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 121-74 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shadow Creek since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
