Preview: Immaculate Mustangs vs. Harding Presidents
Immaculate is 4-0 against Harding since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Immaculate Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Harding Presidents at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Immaculate's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell to Newtown 63-57.
Meanwhile, Harding beat Stratford 59-50 on Wednesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harding to victory, but perhaps none more so than Craig Chandler, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Zamair Moales was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Immaculate's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Harding, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Immaculate beat Harding 51-42 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Does Immaculate have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harding turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
