Baseball Recap: Oxbow Olympians vs. Hazen Wildcats

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thetford Academy, Oxbow was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hazen Wildcats by a score of 4-1. For the Olympians, this counts as revenge for the 15-1 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Alex Daigle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, Griffin Pike was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Fischer, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
