Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brookville walked away with it. They blew past the Rockbridge County Wildcats 10-0 on Thursday. The Bees not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 10-0).

Brookville's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Rockbridge County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Brookville will challenge Monticello on Friday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Bees' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Rockbridge County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
