Marymount won the last time they faced Bishop Alemany and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sailors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sailors.

Marymount walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Samantha Destler paced Marymount's offense, picking up 16 kills. Destler got some help from Olivia Penske and her 33 assists. Destler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Marymount's victory bumped their record up to 33-4. As for Bishop Alemany, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marymount will face off against rival Sierra Canyon at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Alemany is set to square off against their familiar foe Harvard-Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
