Softball Recap: Senatobia Takes a Loss

Senatobia was the 5-2 winner over Marion when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Senatobia Warriors fell 10-5 to the Marion Patriots on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mady Bozant made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Anna Hollis Faulkner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Senatobia now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Marion, they moved to 1-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Senatobia will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oxford at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for Marion, they will take on Wynne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
